Max's Story Ch.2So, I should start with my background so that there is no confusion later on. I was born in Lithuania, but lived there for about a year after my birth. My mother was Lithuanian, and my father, Italian. So you could say I was somewhat, if not all the way, an exotic foreigner. However, maybe that is just my “big ego” talking, as Eva would say.Max's Story Ch.2
Anyways, we can start with my 3rd birthday, just because that sticks out to me as the place where we should start. Besides, I had a very “soft and worriless” life as an infant, and I doubt you’d life to hear about how easy I had it back then.

He wore a black, hooded cloak to protect from the rain as well as to add mystery to his physique. This teenager was one for drama, obviously. Although he could have easily used his wand to block the rain, he did not do so.Max's Story Ch.1
His stupid insecurities had led him here, and he did not intend to get sick on the way. He probably would, but he would certainly try to prevent it.
The shrouded one walked up the road and turned to the right, approaching a solid door. The sign on the door read the following:

The house’s dark paint seemed to reflect no light, which played to Ruby’s advantage, because no one outside the house could see them; however no one would be able to see Evangeline if she ever came.

Ruby Cristallo slashed at the air with her sword, and surged with pride as the magical force called aura emanated from it. Over the past two weeks with James, she had learned a couple of useful spells and fighting techniques, but this was her favorite by far. Not only did the aura give her blade extra power, but also, in time, she would be able to use more complicated sword magic. James watched her from a distance.
“Well done Ruby. You’re the best student I’ve ever had,” James said, beaming with joy.
